Coach Sheehan is the Head Coach at Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, MA.
Prior to joining the Xaverian community, Coach Sheehan was a member of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (W.P.I.) coaching staff. During that time, W.P.I. sported an overall record of 38-16 (.703) and an 18-10 ledger (.642) in the ultra-competitive New England Women and Men's Athletic Conference.
Sheehan's career began at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, MA, where he scored 1,000 points in 43 games. He was the leading scorer in the Attleboro Area his junior and senior years and led the state of Massachusetts in scoring his senior year.
After graduating from Feehan, Coach Sheehan had a standout four-year career at Nichols College. He set the all-time standard for points (2,106), games played (106), free throw attempts (597) and free throws made (497). He also recorded the most free throw attempts (193) and free throws made (158) in his final season as a Bison. In all, his name appears a total of 46 times in the Nichols College record book. The 2014 Jostens Trophy finalist (D3 Player of the Year), Sheehan was also elected as a 2-Year captain by his coaches and teammates. He was a three-time Academic All-District honoree (2012, 2013, 2014), a CoSIDA Academic All-America first teamer as a junior and a CoSIDA Academic All-America second teamer as a senior. Coach Sheehan was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2013-14 campaign. He graduated from Nichols with a 3.9 GPA and a degree in International Business & Marketing.
